The Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources and the Presidency of the Council of Higher Education aim to increase energy efficiency within the framework of our national energy policies and consider publicizing and encouraging studies that contribute to the realization of this goal as an effective policy tool, as is the case all over the world. In this sense, the competition for universities will be organized for the second time this year. With the Interuniversity Energy Efficiency (ÜNVER) Competition, which aims to increase the exchange of information among universities and to encourage new studies on energy efficiency, energy efficiency practices will be announced to the public, the success and benefits of the implemented projects will be introduced, and the work of our universities designing similar projects will be encouraged.
The aim of the competition is to reveal the energy efficient and environmentally sensitive application projects and technologies implemented by energy efficient universities, to ensure the sharing of knowledge and experience, and to increase energy efficiency in general.
Applications will be made with the Annex-1 application form to be obtained electronically from the Ministry's website (https://enerji.gov.tr/medya-duyurular-liste), and if necessary, the relevant form can be developed by the applicant universities to provide more information and necessary additions can be made.
Those who wish to apply should send the relevant form with the attachment of a cover letter to the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, Department of Energy Efficiency and Environment, Nasuh Akar Mah. Türkocağı Cd. D:2, 06520 Çankaya/ANKARA until the close of business on July 28, 2023.
