Under the auspices of the Social Contribution Coordinatorship and with the support of Burdur Development Centre and Sustainability Coordinatorship, MAKU University Students Project Competition will be held within the framework of the slogan "From Universal Knowledge to Social Contribution". This project competition, which will be held under the leadership of our university, is a social contribution project competition open to the participation of all university students (associate, undergraduate and graduate) in Turkey. The competition aims to raise awareness and contribute to society based on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. While it is aimed to raise students' awareness of social contribution, it is a priority to develop projects in line with these goals. The themes of the competition are determined on the axis of seventeen main themes within the framework of the "United Nations Sustainable Development 2030 Goals". The projects to be created from the themes should be social contribution orientated. The themes of the competition are; End Poverty, End Hunger, Health and Quality of Life, Quality Education, Equality of Women and Men, Clean Water and Sanitation, Accessible and Clean Energy, Decent Work and Economic Growth, Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, Reducing Inequalities, Sustainable Cities and Communities, Responsible Production and Consumption, Climate Action, Life in Water, Life on Land, Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, Partnerships for the Goals. Pre-applications for the project competition will be accepted between 1 April 2024 and 15 May 2024.
As a result of the competition;
50.000 TL for the first prize,
40.000 TL for the second,
30.000 TL for the third place,
20.000 TL for the fourth place,
10,000 TL will be awarded to the fifth prize winner.
In addition, some projects selected by the jury will also be awarded the Jury Special Prize.
