Within the framework of cooperation between TÜBİTAK and the US National Science Foundation (NSF), joint projects between Turkish and US scientists are supported. In this context, two programs are open to application, under the headings "2501 - Research Projects - Bilateral Cooperation Support Program with NSF" and "2501 - R&D and Innovation Projects - Bilateral Cooperation Support Program with NSF".
In TÜBİTAK-NSF cooperation projects, foreign travel support and research support are given to the Turkish side by TÜBİTAK.
Project applications to TÜBİTAK must be made through the electronic application system.
While the relevant application program for TÜBİTAK is the 2501 program, which is always open to calls, the US project group must apply to any research support program of NSF or receive funding from any support program of NSF.
