Disaster-Based Out-of-School Learning Experiences for Graduate Students
The project titled "Disaster-based out-of-school learning experiences for graduate students" supported by TUBITAK 2237-A Scientific Education Activities Support Programme is starting.

The project, which aims to provide young researchers (participating young people) who are in postgraduate education in the field of teacher education with the skills to design and implement out-of-school (informal and non-formal) learning activities with an interdisciplinary approach in the context of disaster education, has a deadline of 1 June 2023 and the conditions for application are as follows:

In order to apply for the activities within the scope of this project, which will be organised both online and face-to-face, it is necessary to have the following criteria:

To be a Master's or PhD student with thesis in one of Classroom Education, Preschool Education or Science Education Programmes.

Evaluation Criteria

A total of twenty-eight (28) people, including fourteen (14) Master's and fourteen (14) PhD students, will be selected according to the following criteria:

Selection of Doctoral Students;

Master's, Doctorate and Undergraduate General Academic Grade Point Average (GPA) will be taken into consideration in the selection of doctoral students.

In line with the answers given to the "Pre-Screening Form", the applications of participants who are willing to participate in the project, who are aware of the lack of knowledge on the subject and who are eager to develop new research using their experience in this field will be taken into consideration.

Note: In case the GPAs are equal, it is planned to make a decision by examining the academic activities of the candidate participants (scientific publications, if any, scientific publications, participation activities in congresses, symposiums or seminars).

Selection of Master's Students;

Undergraduate and graduate General Academic Grade Point Average (GPA) will be taken into consideration in the selection of graduate students.

In line with the answers given to the "Pre-Screening Form", the applications of participants who are willing to participate in the project, who are aware of the lack of knowledge on the subject and who are eager to develop new research using their experience in this field will be taken into consideration.

Note: In case the GPAs are equal, it is planned to make a decision by examining the academic activities of the candidate participants (scientific publications, if any, scientific publications, participation in congresses, symposiums or seminars).

In addition, attention will be paid to the participation from different regions, different universities, different departments and the selection of equal number of male and female participants.

In case of insufficient applications, attention will be paid to the participation of a total of four (4) graduate students, two Master's and PhD students from each region.
