Bringing together academics aspiring to develop projects in the field of social sciences, the event marked a significant step toward strengthening inter-institutional cooperation. Simultaneously, it paved the way for establishing sustainable communication channels and developing long-term partnerships among scholars.
With the participation of academics from various disciplines, the meeting provided a platform that enabled mutual introductions and highlighted the potential for joint project development. Within the scope of the program, 15 academics from our university and 10 from Bursa Technical University took part. Participants delivered brief presentations sharing their core research areas, ongoing or planned research topics, and specific project titles that could be aligned with funding programs such as TÜBİTAK, Erasmus+, and Horizon Europe.
The structured presentation time allotted to each participant ensured that project ideas and desired areas of collaboration were expressed clearly. Consequently, common interests were identified, and the foundations for potential collaborations were laid. The knowledge sharing throughout the meeting enhanced interdisciplinary interaction and contributed to the development of concrete project ideas.
Based on the results obtained, a face-to-face workshop hosted by our University is planned for the coming weeks as the second phase of the process. The workshop aims to yield significant outcomes regarding the University’s active participation in project development processes, the enhancement of academic collaborations, and the preparation of strong applications for national and international funding sources.
