From Project Writing to Budget Design: TÜBİTAK 1001 Experience Sharing Program
The “TÜBİTAK 1001 Experience Sharing” event, organized under the coordination of the Ibn Haldun University Project Support Office and in collaboration with Trabzon University, was held online on 5 February 2026.

The program, conducted with the participation of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Seda Gayretli Aydın, a faculty member of the Faculty of Law at Trabzon University, focused on the 1001 – Scientific and Technological Research Projects Funding Program coordinated by TÜBİTAK ARDEB. Within this framework, project evaluation criteria, methodological design, interdisciplinary collaboration, budget planning, and common practical challenges encountered during the application process were discussed in a comprehensive manner.

The event also featured experience sharing on project development and application processes under various support mechanisms, particularly the TÜBİTAK 3005 – Innovative Solutions in Social and Human Sciences Research Projects Funding Program and the 3501 – Career Development Program. Participants had the opportunity to obtain practical, implementation-oriented recommendations in response to their questions, especially on team formation, original research design, and strategic planning.

In addition, attention was drawn to technical procedures that may be encountered during project applications, with particular emphasis on the importance of verifying e-signature procedures well before the deadlines and completing applications at least a few days in advance. The event concluded with a question-and-answer session, and the practical insights and recommendations shared on project writing provided a guiding framework for researchers planning to apply for TÜBİTAK funding.
