The EU Erasmus+ Funded “DijiKulüp” Project
The project titled “DijiKulüp: University Clubs Empowered by Digital Technologies and Artificial Intelligence,” coordinated by Sevanur CANER from our University’s Rectorate staff and supervised by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Özcan E. AKGÜN, has been awarded a grant of €44,488.00 under the 2025/2 call of the Erasmus+ KA-154 Youth Participation Program of the Turkish National Agency.

The DijiKulüp project aims to strengthen the institutional capacity of student clubs within the university by effectively utilizing digital and AI-based tools. Over the course of a 12-month project period spanning 2026–2027, the project plans to develop data-driven solutions to address the clubs’ needs in the areas of management, communication, and sustainability.

The project does not limit itself to institutional capacity building but also aims to contribute directly to policy-making processes through the findings obtained. In this regard, strengthening the role of young people in decision-making mechanisms and the development of sustainable management models by university clubs are among the project’s key outcomes.

Through this project, our university continues to establish a strong position on the international stage within the framework of the Erasmus+ program by leading institutional capacity development in the fields of digitalization and artificial intelligence.

We congratulate Project Coordinator Sevanur CANER and Advisor Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Özcan E. AKGÜN, and wish them success in their work.
