TÜBİTAK 2223-B Support for the ‘Future of Mediation III Symposium’
The scientific event titled “The Future of Mediation III Symposium,” coordinated by Prof. Dr. Yeliz Bozkurt Gümrükçüoğlu, a faculty member of our University’s Faculty of Law, has been awarded support under the TÜBİTAK 2223-B Domestic Scientific Event Organization Support Program.

The symposium, which will be organized by the Ibn Haldun University Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution Practice and Research (UÇAM), will be held on April 17–19, 2026. The symposium aims to bring together academics, practitioners in the field of mediation, representatives of public institutions, and the private sector in order to discuss practical challenges, develop new approaches, and produce sustainable solutions. In this way, it seeks to establish a multidimensional scientific platform for dialogue on the future of mediation.

The symposium, which aims to convene academics, practitioners, and all relevant stakeholders working in the field of mediation, will include evaluations on a wide range of themes such as mediation processes, ethical dimensions, technology-driven developments, and new models. The support provided under the TÜBİTAK 2223-B program will make a significant contribution to ensuring the event is conducted at a high scientific level and will bring an innovative perspective to mediation literature and practice.
