The launch of the ‘AI-Supported Social Science Research’ (YADESA) project, led by Dr. Sümeyye Uyar from our university’s Department of Political Science and International Relations and approved for implementation with the support of the Istanbul Development Agency, was held at Ibn Haldun University.

Ibn Haldun University launched the “Society 5.0: Digital Balance, Responsible Technology Use, and Addiction Prevention Support Program” on September 17, 2025, in collaboration with Yeşilay and Başakşehir Municipality. Three projects focused on digital addiction that were selected for support were introduced at the event. The program offers a total of 1,250,000 TL in grant support, with the projects aiming to raise social awareness and combat digital addiction.

İbn Haldun University Project Support Office organized an orientation program for the principal investigators of the projects granted support within the scope of the 2025 Society 5.0: Digital Balance, Responsible Use of Technology, and Combating Addiction Support Program.

Ibn Haldun University organized a comprehensive orientation program for project leaders to ensure the successful implementation of projects supported under the BAP.

The project titled “Analysis of Conflict Management in University Campuses and Development of a Mediation-Based Sustainable Institutional Solution Model” by Prof. Dr. Yeliz BOZKURT GÜMRÜKÇÜOĞLU, an academic at our University's Faculty of Law, has been awarded funding under the 1001 Program 2025/1 call coordinated by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey's Research Support Programs Presidency (TÜBİTAK ARDEB).

In line with its vision to enhance international academic collaborations, Ibn Haldun University hosted representatives from the University of New York Tirana (UNYT).

Under the coordination of the Ibn Haldun University Project Support Office and in collaboration with Marmara Technopark, the "Impact and Climate Entrepreneurship Workshop" was held on July 16, 2025, at the Ömer Faruk Harman Conference Hall. The event aimed to introduce students to the culture of entrepreneurship and raise awareness about developing innovative solutions to global issues such as climate change.

Ibn Haldun University hosted a workshop on “Secondary Trauma and Resilience” between 6–8 July 2025 as part of the PASS Project, supported under the Erasmus+ KA-154 program. The event, which focused on the experiences of professionals and volunteers working in disaster-affected areas, was organized by IPAM in cooperation with Hasan Kalyoncu University.
